Rice With Black Beans

1 medium onion, chopped
1 tablespoon oil
1 14 oz can chopped & garlic or spiced tomatos
1 16 0z can black beans, undrained
1/2 teaspoon dried italian spices
1/2 teaspoon garlic
1 1/2 cups Minute instant Brown Rice
Cook & stir onion in hot oil in saucepan until tender but not browned. Add tomatos, beans, spices. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice. Return to boil. Reduce heat; cover & simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes
