Last year a judge ruled our genes couldn't be patented. Myriad Genetics holds the patents on the BRCA genes. Last year, a judge ruled that the patents were invalid. But, just this week, this ruling was reversed & Myriad Genetics holds the patent.
Stay tuned…I'm sure the appeals have already started.
